Labels: More Than Just Information Carriers
Today, labels are not just used as carriers of information but have also become an important tool that reflects the identity of a brand or product. The design and production of labels differ according to the materials used and their purposes. Label diversity is determined by the properties of the material used, the purpose of use, and the industry. Essentially, there are two main categories of labels: printed and non-printed. Both categories offer solutions for different requirements.

Printed Labels: This category includes labels with prints on them and may include elements such as logos, information, or designs. Printed labels are especially used for brand promotion and product information. Printed labels are commonly used as paper label rolls produced in rolls.

Non-Printed (Blank) Labels: Non-printed labels are produced according to the specific needs of the customer. These types of labels offer customized solutions to the needs of businesses. Printing can be applied to non-printed labels afterward.

Paper-Based Labels: Paper-based labels come in various types and are particularly ideal for industrial use. Here are some types of paper-based labels:

Gloss Coated Labels: These have a shiny surface and are suitable for ribbon printing. They offer good print quality but have limited durability.
Eco Thermal Labels: Typically used for short-lived products. Prints form through thermal reactions when heat is applied. They are sensitive to moisture and temperature.
Laminated Thermal Labels: Prints can be made without using a ribbon and are more durable. They contain a protective layer and are long-lasting.
Vellum Labels: Similar to gloss-coated labels but have microscopic pores. Their surface is rough and offers a matte appearance.
Fastyre Labels: These have a metallic adhesive base and are commonly used in the textile industry.
Plastic-Based Labels: Plastic-based labels are preferred especially in industries that require durability. Here are some examples of plastic-based labels:

Fragile Labels: Used for security purposes and leave a mark when broken. They can also be used for warranty purposes on technological products.
Silvermat Labels: Heat-resistant and particularly used in industrial fields. They are gray in color and long-lasting.
Transparent Labels: Resistant to heat, light, and moisture. Their design makes them particularly noticeable.
Laser Printer Labels: Suitable for laser printers and durable.
Void (Security) Labels: Leave a mark when adhered to a surface and are used for security purposes.

Labels are an important communication tool in business. These labels, which vary according to the materials used, design, and industry, play a crucial role in product promotion and process management.
